IOC Lookup terms of use

Version 2026-10-28. These terms apply to the free Cybereinforce IOC Lookup and to the free Cybereinforce community membership.

In short: the IOC Lookup is free for everyone, 10 lookups a day. Sign in with your Microsoft work account and join the community, and you get 100 lookups a day and the reasons behind every verdict. That is a marketing gift in return for our weekly threat newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your account goes back to 10 lookups a day.

1. Who provides the service

The IOC Lookup is provided by Cybeurope, Bordolloring 17, 67269 Grünstadt, Germany, under the Cybereinforce brand ("Cybereinforce", "we"). Full details are in our Impressum.

2. The service

You can check one domain or URL at a time against Cybereinforce threat intelligence and the live checks of the Cybereinforce browser extension. The answer says whether Cybereinforce would block it, warn about it, or let it open. The service is free. We may change, limit or end it at any time.

3. Daily lookups

Limits reset every day at midnight UTC. An organisation as a whole also has a daily ceiling. We may change the limits.

4. Community membership

5. Fair use

The IOC Lookup is for security work, one indicator at a time. You must not:

We may refuse lookups or block access when we see misuse.

6. Results

Results show what Cybereinforce knows and detects at the moment of the lookup. They are a data point for your own assessment, not a guarantee that something is safe or malicious. Verdicts can change. You can report a false positive or ask for a change under every result, and Cybereinforce analysts review each request.

7. Your data

How we handle the IOCs you look up, your account and your email address is explained in our privacy notice. We keep the wording you agreed to and when you agreed to it.

8. Liability

The service is free. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability is excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

Cybereinforce may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We publish the current version on this page with its date. Members are told about material changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your membership before then; using the service after the date means you accept the new terms. Anything that changes what we email you or what you consented to will need your new consent.

10. Law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
